Who we are

SCALECON Jakarta 2027 is organised by Dewaweb. In this policy, “SCALECON”, “we” and “us” mean the SCALECON team at Dewaweb. We decide how the personal data collected through scalecon.ai is used, and we are responsible for it under Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022).

What we collect

Only what you give us, plus what any website receives when you visit it:

• Partner and speaker forms. When you apply as a sponsor, speaker, media partner or community partner, or recommend a speaker, we collect what the form asks for: your name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number, your company or organisation and role, and anything you write in the form.
• Webinar registration. When you register for a Free AI Webinar, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company if you give it, which option best describes you, and the sessions you picked.
• Webinar feedback. When you fill in the feedback form after a webinar, we collect your name, your email address, the province you live in (or, if you live abroad, the country), how useful you found the webinar, which AI topics you want to learn next, how interested you are in SCALECON Jakarta 2027 and why, and, unless you live in DKI Jakarta, Jawa Barat or Banten, which formats you prefer for the conference and workshops. Your name and province (or country) are shown on screen if you are drawn in that webinar’s doorprize.
• Tickets and My Tickets. Buying a ticket and signing in to My Tickets happen on app.scalecon.ai, our ticketing and attendee platform. What you enter there, such as your name, email address and order details, is used to issue your ticket and give you access to what it includes.
• Usage data. Like most websites, we receive technical data when you browse: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and how you arrived. Some of it is collected with cookies or similar technology, described below.

How we use it

• To review your application and get back to you, by email or WhatsApp.
• To send you a confirmation that we received your form.
• To register you with Zoom for the webinars you picked. Zoom then emails you a join link of your own, and on the afternoon of each webinar we email you a reminder with that link.
• To run the doorprize draw at the end of a webinar, from the feedback sent that day, and to plan better webinars, workshops and SCALECON Jakarta 2027 from what the feedback tells us.
• To send you SCALECON news, only if you ticked “Also send me SCALECON news”. You can ask us to stop at any time.
• To let the SCALECON team know a new form has arrived, so it is followed up quickly.
• To run the event you signed up for, including your ticket and the programmes it includes.
• To understand how the site is used and make it work better.
• To measure our advertising and show SCALECON ads to people who have visited this site.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not hand it to sponsors or partners as a list.

Who we share it with

Only the people and services needed to do the things above:

• The SCALECON team at Dewaweb, who read and answer forms.
• Our email provider, which delivers form notifications and confirmations.
• Unipile, which we use to send WhatsApp messages.
• Cloudflare, which delivers this website and protects it from abuse.
• Google (Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics) and IdeaX Digital, which measure how the site is used.
• Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), which measure our ads and show SCALECON ads to people who have visited this site.
• Google’s YouTube, when you play a video embedded on this site.
• Zoom, which runs the webinars. When you register for one, we send Zoom your name, email address, phone number, company if you give it, and which option best describes you, so it can register you and email you your join link. On the day of the webinar we read your name, email address and join link back from Zoom to send you our reminder. Zoom handles that registration and your participation under its own privacy policy.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

This site uses Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, and IdeaX Digital analytics to measure visits. Google Tag Manager also loads advertising tags from Google Ads and the Meta Pixel. These record that you visited and which pages you viewed, so we can see which ads bring people here and show SCALECON ads to past visitors on Google, Facebook and Instagram. They may set cookies or use similar technology in your browser.

Videos are embedded in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, so YouTube sets no cookies until you press play. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them. Google and Meta also let you turn off personalised ads in your account settings.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions, including webinar registrations and feedback, for as long as we need them for SCALECON Jakarta 2027 and its follow-up, and then delete them. Ticket data is kept as long as needed to provide your ticket and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

How we protect it

Form submissions are stored on servers we control and are only accessible to the SCALECON team. The site is served over an encrypted connection.

Your rights

Under Indonesian law you can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it, and you can withdraw consent you have given. To do any of these, email us. We may need to confirm it is really you before acting on the request.

Changes to this policy

When what we collect or how we use it changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
